- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪When my workshop/barn burned down I heard a lot of horror stories about dealing with insurance companies. I'll be glad to counter those stories with my own experience. Dealing with this type of loss is difficult but everyone at Allstate was easy to work with, sympathetic, and understanding. When I had questions, they had answers. When I didn't agree with an assumption, they worked with me. They even reached out to me to make sure I was doing OK and understood the details of a conversation we had earlier.
